v1.2.0: Combat Overhaul


Having been inspired by watching gamedev videos I am returning to this game to polish it up, starting with the most lacking aspects from the game jam version: combat and the menu.

Changes

  • Add new menu design
  • Add 3 new levels
  • Add the archer enemy type
  • Add the knight enemy type
  • Attacks now give knockback
  • Receiving damage applies an effect to give better feedback
  • Blocking now slows movement
  • SFX pitch variation to break up repetitive sounds
  • Add vertical camera tracking
  • WIP ladder trajectory prediction
